The Serra Bonita Reserve is the ideal place for those who want to rest, enjoy the silence and the sounds of the forest, walk, observe, photograph and film, having the opportunity to see animals and plants up close, in their natural habitat.
The Reserve offers facilities for field courses, research, studies, lectures and meetings, and the activities of nature watchers and academics. There is a Lodge with eight suites, a Students´Dorm and several trails. For use in the development of scientific research or courses, the Reserve provides (upon prior request and arrangement) an auditorium, four laboratories, one collected material preparation room, two collection rooms, a scientific library, research equipment and materials.
Please book your stay through this website. Serra Bonita is a difficult place to get to, and we must prepare in advance to receive visitors. Therefore, we have prepared a Visitor´s Guide, with comprehensive information and guidance, to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Please read the Guide, then fill out the Registration Form, one for each apartment requested (even if you have already visited the reservation, you must fill in a new Form). Complete and correct filling is necessary for us to issue your Electronic Invoice and confirm your request. Please pay via Paypal, on this website.
Your invoice will be issued upon bank confirmation of payment, and sent to your e-mail address along with a confirmation message of your booking. Should you not receive that message in 48hrs, please contact us.

SUPPORT TO RESEARCHERS, TRAINEES AND VOLUNTEERS
The SBR offers low-cost accomodation and facilities - the Students´ Dorm and the Research Center - to encourage and support the development of studies and research about the Atlantic Forest at Serra Bonita. The use of those facilities is restricted to researchers, trainees and volunteers condicting work on site. Requests to use those facilities for touristic purposes will be refused.
